Abstract

The necessity of universal Mahdavi government is used from four categories of verses of the Holy Quran:
- The verses that indicate the supplanting of the righteous on earth. Such as the 55 verses of Surah Towbah, 5 Surah Qasas and the same number of other verses that refer to or specify the same theme.
- Verses that indicate the victory of Islam over other religions. Such as verse 33 of Surah Toba. This promise is repeated in verse 28 of Surah Fatah and also verse 9 of Surah Saf. The word "emergence" is used for the victory of Islam over other religions. Imam Baqir (a.s.) in the interpretation of these verses says: This victory will be from the family of Muhammad (p.a.) during the rise of the Mahdi, so that no one will remain in the world unless he confesses to Muhammad (p.a.).
- Verses that promise the victory of truth over falsehood. Like verse 81 of Surah Isra. The victory of truth over falsehood is one of God's certain promises that is specified in this verse. According to the traditions of the Imams of the Infallible (AS), this divine promise will be fulfilled during the rise of Hazrat Mahdi (AS) and the rule of truth, which is the universal rule of that Prophet. It will gain control over the entire planet and all the false and tyrannical governments will be put down.
- The universality of the religion of Islam; The addresses of the verses of the Qur'an are addressed to all mankind, which are expressed with different interpretations. Among other things, in many verses, he addressed all people as "Ya Ayyuha Al-Nas", "Ya Bani Adam" and considered his guidance to include all humans "Al-Nas" and "Al-Alamin". And also, in many verses, he has confirmed the mission of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for all the people of the world, and in a comprehensive verse, he has emphasized his invitation to everyone who is informed about it.
These four categories of verses document the necessity of universality of Hazrat Mahdi (AS), they are used. The narrations from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the infallible imams (PBUH) in the interpretation of these verses confirm this claim and clarify it.
